Project Overview

In 2023, TomTom needed to revamp its developer landing page to give potential customers a clearer idea of the various map API's and SDK's they have to offer. Using the map as the main interaction point, I went about redesigning it for early launch at CES 2024, then eventually a production roll out.

By utilising an already existing design system, I was solely responsible for the design and design support needed for this experience

Ensuring that the page was fully responsive to mobile and tablet form factors

The problem

The existing website had many images of the map which were not interactive and caused more questions to the user. This was suspected to cause drop off

Story telling via an interactive map

The concept we wanted to convey was essentially a map that tells a story on the entire TomTom API and SDK portfolio

A website for every country

As the TomTom map is globally available, the landing page can adapt it's content based on the users IP
